i have to laugh at the fact that all growing up election night was always like a holiday at our house. we would always sit around as a family and watch the results come in while my mom baked yummy treats. last night ann and i carried on the tradition, of course with my mom calling every 15 min.

i for one am feeling very proud to be an American.

now lets do some good, mr. president.

History in the making is always splendid...to think our generation is a part of this historic event sends shivers up my spine....

What a great tradition to carry forward! I live in Kansas and it has been so great to see my kids get involved in the race this year and take pride in their decision to support the party that wasn't the favorite in "these here parts". When I woke them up out of bed with my cheering at 10:02 PM they were just as excited as we were, texting their friends and cheering too. Now it's time to get to work...
BTW-I love your blog. I have never commented before, but read you often. Your kindness really shows on your site. :o)
