flowers...

i am not big on photographing still life (with the exception of trips and documenting the details) i just love photographing people so much, capturing interactions and relationships is really what it is all about for me.

i did however snap a few of these beautiful flowers in san diego and i am so glad i did...

the bomb...

we had so much fun shooting Sarah's bridals, it is so fun because we can bounce ideas off each other and she is up for anything and trusts me completely... i love that.

she is seriously gorgeous.

you need to do this...

i have heard alot of people doing this and am surely late on the bandwagon but about a month ago i was at my sister in laws house and she was working on making her blog into a book, she showed me the program and roughly how it worked and i got on the ball.

i had been putting it off mostly because i thought it was going to be a pain, and while it was time consuming i really enjoyed doing it.

i used blurb.com, their software is really user friendly and allows for quite a few changes so you can really make it your own. as you can see mine is really plain but i love how it turned out...

let me know if you are doing one or thinking of doing one and have any questions, i'd be happy to answer!

*oh and this is just 2007 i am working on 2006, it is much longer!

carnies...

love em... lucky for me i got the flu and stayed a few days longer than estee and chris and you better believe we went to opening day of the dal mar fair. i was sad estee wasn't there because she would have loved every second of it and little simone napped the whole time so i was left to ride elephants and enjoy all of the deep fried goodness.

as you can see my grandma was scared out of her mind and didn't want to stop for a photo...

love this little family so much...

and just to give you an idea of the deep fried delights...

san diego...

even though our circumstances for being there were terrible, we still enjoyed being together as a family. marlo and estee have a connection that i am sure is much more than their two and three years have built, i am just sure they have been friends for much, much longer. and i so hope they always are.

a few from the beach...

and this crazy little girl who spends her days collecting everyones jewelry.

11 months...

our little simoney is 11 months today

she is...
saying mama and dada
standing, and taking one or two steps
still not sleeping through the night (not even close)
giving kisses
teething again (she has 7 teeth and 3 more are on their way out)
still suuuuch a mommies girl.

we are all just so in love with our little blue eyed girl.

jewels...

estee and i have been making jewelry almost everyday... she loves to do it and it keeps her busy for hours (considering it takes her about two min. to put each bead on!)

she calls them her jewels...
